I've been using a 800X600 13 inch vga for initial setup purposes.Īre you also saying that when you choose the update and scan button, you get realtime progress feedback in the Channellist window in your setup? #TWINHAN SOFTWARE CRACKED#So, I will just wait until someone around here admits their software is not all its cracked up to be.ĭon't want my money back though, just want the bloody thing to work.įunny you mention a low resolution monitor. The app doesn't respond to any keyboard or mouse input. If I use the regular transedit app, it functions exactly the same as the DVBViewer v3.2.4 application. If I use the alternative transedit mmc app to test, I can get the dvb card to scan the last transponder on the satellite but can't scan the other 47 tps. Just wait you'll experience this as well ! Unlike you though, I still get no channel scanning from the channellist, when I do see it. That is until I found out that it is displayed ten feet off the screen and you have to nudge it back with keyboard keys :0 There's confidence for ya! I to, can't access the setting button next to the device field in the directx window Mod's - Don't harp on the chosen SAT please, because I should still receive 'In The Clear' guide channels from this Sat, regardless. Like you, I am sure I have my setup correct. No Problem though, I decided to wait until someone else had the same issue because I knew I wasn't the only one out there. I submitted the same question a while ago but did not submit my setup files so I didn't get a response. You are experiencing the same issue(s) I have with my twinhan VP-1020a Sonic Cinemaster® DS Audio Decoder: 00710000 Moonlight-Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder: 00700000 Sonic Cinemaster® DS Video Decoder: 00710000 Here below I list the MPEG decoders installed. #TWINHAN SOFTWARE WINDOWS#Pentium IV 3.2 GHz 512 MB - Windows XP SP1 - DirectX 9 - Sk Video ATI Radeon 9200SE. ![]() Therefore I cannot access to the DiSEqC menu, etc. ![]() It is not possible to choose the Channel List from the main menu becuase if I click nothing happens. In the main menu of DVBViewer I see the device recognized as "VisionDTV 1 (DVB-S CI)" in the DirectX Options, but it is not possible to access to the Settings because they are frozen (but maybe this is normal). I used to use both ProgDVB and Twinhan software (VisionPlus) without particular problems.Īfter the installation I also checked the right installation/registration of all filters inside the folder "Filters" through the utility of GraphEdit. #TWINHAN SOFTWARE PC#Our stuff, Codecworks & VLC all require a fairly beefy PC to do the encoding.I have already installed DVBViewer 3.2.4 but it does not receive any signal from the device (a Twinhan card with CI - similar to VP1030 - chipset BT878A). Those are really the only hardware ways to do it. But that’s pretty shoddy for reliability.įor hardware stuff, you could just use a Tandberg or other standard name-brand broadcast encoder with low bitrate options enabled to take either ASI or IP transport streams and encode AVC/AAC and send off via RTSP to a Wowza server. We ran their eval a bit for a while but ended up going a different route. You’ll still need something to take the transport stream and send it over IP into the Codecworks system ,but it does work. The only other ‘easy’ & ‘commercial’ way you can do it is by using Elecard Codecworks. We’ve got our own homegrown stuff that does that. #TWINHAN SOFTWARE HOW TO#Some intermediate software is needed to talk to the driver and then parse out the various program streams from the TS.īy far the easiest way for people to take a satellite feed and put it into Wowza is to use a regular satellite set top box, and feed the output into a regular video capture card and then encode with whatever their favorite Flash/AVC encoder is.Ĭhris, currently we are doing STB to Capture card and FMLE to Wowza, however seems you know how to bypass FMLE and direct transcode satellite to wowza thorugh some cards, can you please suggest how to do this, the cards that you are using, is it possible to have any hardware h.264 encoding at this point to take the burden off of CPU We use some custom apps to do it, but you can’t just pull it from the card and ship into wowza. They pass off the transport stream to the PCI bus which can be picked up by various playback programs. They don’t decode/encode or otherwise do anything with the actual audio/video services inside a satellite mux. Richard, the Twinhan cards are just generic satellite receiver boards. You can refer them to these guides and ask them which one to follow, or if they have any guidance for publishing to Wowza. I would search through the Live Encoders section, specifically at the the hardware encoder guides, to find one that seems applicable.Īnd/Or ask Twinhan support. ![]()
